Aaron Hunter, CPA

Aaron prides himself on providing a level of personalized service that includes gaining an understanding of each business, and individuals circumstances. His expertise includes:

  • Tax preparation for public, private companies, and partnerships

Meet the Team

  • Brian, a Northwestern Washington native and Seattle Seahawks fan, served as a U.S. Army Lance Missile Crew member from 1988 to 1991. After graduation in 1992, he completed a fast-tracked Bachelor of Science in Accounting. His career began in 1995 with health insurance companies. Brian passed the CPA exam in 2002 and worked for the IRS in 2003. In 2005, he joined Richard A. Saso, CPA, Inc., adding an MBA, stockbroker license, and California CPA license by 2009. Brian specializes in various tax returns, business valuation, cryptocurrency, restaurant, and real estate taxation. He recently joined Hunter Tax Associates in November 2023.

  • Born in Berkeley, CA in 1987, Daniel now resides in Walnut Creek. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from the University of Oregon. After corporate insurance roles, he found his place at Hunter Tax Associates three years ago, embracing his career. In his free time, Daniel enjoys IPA with friends, exploring California, and watching movies. Though his immediate family moved to Idaho, he visits them frequently. Daniel is passionate about travel, with exciting annual trips planned. Future goals include aiding Aaron's business growth, earning an EA certification, and starting a family within 5-10 years.

  • Jennifer Kerry is Executive Administration at Hunter Tax Associates. Finishing up her degree in Business Administration. Prior to working at Hunter Tax Associates, she was at Richard Saso, CPA where she was responsible for office administration, tax preparation & support, client communications. In her free time, she can be found with her two children, Ryan & Abigail, super hands on with their lives & activities, she is a competitive Dance mom, now Cheer mom. Her roles are board member on the Arroyo Athletic Boosters, event coordination, volunteering and fundraising. She loves traveling with them to new places whenever possible, plus a few visits to Disneyland a year.

  • Shweta Nellogi graduated with Bachelor of Computer Science in India and relocated to USA. She always had interest in Finance/ Accounting and hence later pursued accounting degree in USA. Shweta has been working on personal and small business tax filing since 2019. She is also proficient with their monthly, quarterly and annual book keeping, payroll processing as a tax consultant. She also has good knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable. Shweta loves spending time with her family and kids playing ping pong and other paddle games.

  • Originally from Pune, India, Vandana holds a commerce master's degree specializing in Accounting, Cost Accounting, and CA Intermediate. After moving to the United States 16 years ago, she pursued her CPA certification and is now working towards her CPA license. Vandana enjoys connecting with people from diverse backgrounds, relishing California's pleasant weather, celebrating festivals with friends, and embracing adventures like a 100-mile hike in 10 days and a 50-mile biking expedition with her son. She actively volunteers in her local school and community. Professionally, Vandana collaborates with Aaron for tax preparation and bookkeeping, bringing experience from Indian and American firms. Her aspiration is to explore global national parks, guided by a positive outlook on life.
